Maintain daily oral hygiene 

Brush twice a day use a soft bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste loss once a day flossing helps remove food particle and pluck from between teeth 

Using mouthwash can kill bacteria that brushing and flossing might miss.

Stay hydrated 

Drinking water helps win away food particles and bacteria. A dry mouth causes bad breath. To keep your mouth hydrated you can drink water or chew gum

Limit acidic drink 

Acidic drinks can be very bad for your enamel if consumed on a regular basis. Some of the acidic drinks are soft drinks, coffee, cordials, and fruit juice.

Don’t use your teeth as tool

Teeth are meant for chewing ,but a lot of us use it as a tool. For example Opening packages, cans, beer bottles or even bending metal. These activities can seriously damage your teeth. Your teeth may get chipped.

Change Toothbrush every 3 months 

Toothbrush is something we use regularly. After a certain time the bristles of the toothbrush gets worn out. Which cannot clean our teeth effectively. That’s why it’s necessary to change your toothbrush every three months.

Look after your toothbrush

After brushing keep your toothbrush in an upright position. This will help drying out of the bristles thoroughly which will prevent microorganisms growing on your toothbrush.

Use a tongue scraper

A lot of the time we brush our teeth twice a day, but still have bad breath. It’s probably because we aren’t brushing or scraping our tongues. Our tongue  has a lot of bacteria build up that causes bad breath. Scraping your tongue everyday will get rid of the bad breath and whitish appearance. 

Avoid all form of tobacco

Smoking is very harmful for our health as well as our teeth and gums. Chewing tobacco can be just as harmful. Tobacco damages oral tissues which can lead to weaker gums and teeth and bad breath .
